Case Study #2 This patient presented with interesting symptoms, incl. increasing illness, fainting spells (idiopathic syncope), lightheadedness / dizziness (esp. on missing meals), pain in the ears, fluctuating energy levels, occas. numbness / tingling in R arm, and sudden low BP. Visits to doctors were non-productive. Blood tests we found interesting: low serotonin levels and three out-of-range WBCs.
On exam, we found an asparagus Lacuna in her R upper iris at R12:17Z3-5, indicating a potential tumor. The LUQ and LLaQ of the sclera told the bigger part of the story: two active brain tumors. The brain-heart connection was also apparent in the sclera images. Subsequent MRI revealed two frontal lobe brain tumors. The larger tumor was removed nasally, after which the symptoms diminished or were eliminated entirely. A follow-up one year later revealed dramatic evidence of the changes in her health as revealed in the sclera.
